Welcome to 16 Inns

Based in Brisbane’s Inns of Court building, centrally located on North Quay, 16 Inns is home to 13 enterprising and independent barristers. Our members have a diverse range of busy practices, spanning many areas of law.

First established upon the opening of the Inns of Court building in 1986 with 11 founding members, the collegiate culture of our floor sets us apart. Since the group was founded, many of our alumni have gone on to serve in distinguished judicial and other post-law careers.

The vast experience and expertise of our members is recognised nationally.
